Following the sad passing of Chris Sear at the beginning of last season, the League have created two new Cup Competitions in his memory. This season, teams will compete in the Chris Sear Memorial Cup or Chris Sear Memorial Shield.
The Cup and Shield group stages started this weekend with a minutes applause given by players before commencing with their games.
We had the privilege of travelling to Jackey Bakers to meet some of the teams and distribute magazines to players and fans.
The weekend saw an array of great games with Windmill FC showing a great performance over Hussar Fc to a 4-0 win, Kings United continued their strong form with a win over TWS Cramptons.
